Today we live in an information society, where the computer has a key role. The Internet clearly provides a Cooperative Distance Learning that results in an Open School without blocks, walls and frontiers. With this in mind, EduWeb and the Kidlink Brasil (Kbr) Project joined forces in favor of the democratization of IT, creating the EduKbr Educational Portal (www.edukbr.com.br). It is aimed at becoming a great multicultural school, to support the new Education paradigm posed by the Web, opening a pioneering space for literacy and education supported by technology, which is so necessary for the formation of today's world citizen.
